2 psychology true/false questions regarding behavior/reinforcement-help please!?

Please tell me if the following statements are true or false.

1) in efforts to learn behavior, when coupling the unconditioned stimulus and the conditioned stimulus, the spacing between 1 coupling and the next is equally as important as the number of times they are coupled.

2) delayed reinforcement results in increased effectiveness of the reinforcement.

Thanks!2 psychology true/false questions regarding behavior/reinforcement-help please!?
1. False. In learned behavior, the prime factors are repetition and consistency.

2. This one falls into the sometimes category. It depends on the individual and the situation.

For a punishment or reward, it can be very true, especially if the learner is aware that they are going to be punished or rewarded, as the extra time to brood on it is in itself a form of reinforcement.
