Help me with this question!! waves/sand/beach/winter/summer - true or false?

Waves in the summer are more frequent and larger, taking the sand from the beach. Then, in the winter, the waves are less frequent and smaller returning the sand to the beach.

True or false?Help me with this question!! waves/sand/beach/winter/summer - true or false?
FALSE

It is reversed the reson why is that storms are the primary source of Large waves and the shore lines get pounded in the winter because Low Pressure Systems tend to dominate the Weather.

durring the Summer High Pressure tend to dominate the weather and the seas are typicly calmerHelp me with this question!! waves/sand/beach/winter/summer - true or false?
I think thats false. In hawaii they hold the surfing competitions in the winter i believe. So that obviously means bigger waves.
Here in California that's false, but I can imagine there might be a place in the world where that is true. If you had a beach where the primary exposure was to waves coming from the opposite hemisphere, it might very well be true, since the waves will be coming from the season of the opposite hemisphere.

For example, it may be true on the south shore of Hawaii (not the one that people normally think of for surfing).
